Regional Telemedicine forum (RFT)

From 2010 to 2013 the Region of Southern Denmark and Odense University Hospital held the role of project leader in a European project on best pratice within the field of telemedicine.

The RTF project was a collaboration between 9 European regions with extensive experience in the use of telemedicine services. The goal of the project was to learn from each other and to collect the experience of each region to form a joint understanding and identification of the best practices and challenges for telemedicine in Europe. During the project time the partnership has delivered Good Practices Guidelines and Policy Recommendations addressing the key challenges that hinder the wider use of telemedicine.

More information about he RTF project and its results can be found on the Regional Telemedicine Forum website here.

In the fall of 2013 the INTERREG IVC programme has created a series of short videos showing best practices from regions all over Europe, including from the Spanish RTF region of Catalunya.
