Anne-Kirstine concluded her PhD study on June 1st 2017 with an oral defence for an international panel of evaluators. Today Anne-Kirstine works at OUH with research data and clinical registries in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology, as part of the team working in The Danish Clinical Registries (RKKP) organization which constitutes the infrastructure of National Clinical Quality Databases and Danish Multidisciplinary Cancer Groups (DMCG).

 

Originally Anne-Kirstine’s PhD was focused on the transferability of results from telemedicine studies to other clinical scenarios based on the results from a local telemedicine study, but during the process, focus has been shifted towards the general and external validity of studies of innovative medical technologies and how studies are designed and data collected and analyzed in these studies.
